Last night’s sunset over Lake Michigan. I’ve lived here all my life and this view never gets old. I appreciate the inspiration she offers and never take it for granted

It’s September! Ready to start making autumn batches of soup for the freezer! Well, once the temps start getting a little more fall-like 🥴

Love the blues! Bluegrass and blues…the roots of everything we know today!

Oh he was busy…contemplating, meditating, letting the creative juices wash over him. Oh hell, he was out cold sleeping!

I’m not sure how to respond…that was very thought provoking

Roger Ensign @roger-56.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Isn’t this bumbling fool out of money by now?

Roger Ensign @roger-56.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Over here in W Michigan I am surrounded by blueberry farms (literally a quarter mile down the road) We devour the local crop!!

Roger Ensign @roger-56.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Thankfully I grow my own jalapeños and lettuce!!

It's ok to release a man's private diary, but not court ordered release of Epstein docs?? Explain it.

Lol! Sorry Ron, that is just a dumb question! 😂

Roger Ensign @roger-56.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

Ugh! Campbell plant is only about 10 miles from me. They were in the process of shutting down when the Trump admin stepped in and forced them to reopen 😡

Like so many in this administrations cabinet, one more example of total incompetency and danger in the position of which they hold. The pattern filters down from the incompetence of the President of the United States

Our grandsons are coming tomorrow to spend the rest of the week with us…our happy place!!

That was beautiful Cass! Thank you for sharing a moment of joy amidst all the darkness surrounding us these days…something we all need!

Exactly! And Neighbors help neighbors, it’s the right thing to do. Keep the politicians out of it so they can’t muck everything up, and we’ll work through it

000

Not trying to blame Canada (lord knows there’s enough of that from uninformed politicians) Just saying with my location in MI and weather patterns, it’s coming from Canada

He’s a GSD….he’ll figure it out!

Wow! He’s quite the excavator!

After 20 years, we finally had central air put last winter when they replaced the furnace. Considering the weather and smoke this summer, one of the smarter investments I’ve in quite some time!

My sisters from AZ are visiting this week, so we got a new shower curtain special just for them!

Roger Ensign @roger-56.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

I’m going to have to show you my slow grilled marinated pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce and homemade sour cream and chives mashed potatoes, with a fresh salad picked from my garden
