We propose a semi-distributive model for priming in the lagging strand that sets the RSR in a DNA replication control mode (DRC). The DRC modulates the progression of DNA replication through S phase to ensure the maintenance of genomic stability. @rodrimartinr.bsky.social @cbm-csic-uam.bsky.social

Very proud of the work of @rodrimartinr.bsky.social, Sara Rodríguez Acebes and the rest of the team. This has been a long effort with many people involved over the years. We have now a better understanding on how VCP/p97 connects priming during DNA replication and the replication stress response.
