The Farmer's Basket in Peachtree Center Mall ("The Hub") had new menu boards, with AI-generated images of their food that fall right into the dead center of the uncanny valley. Look at THESE:

I went to Nintendo's US home page and began seeking out a contact form there. This is how their page mysupport.nintendo.com looks to me right now. Your browser isn't broken. Nintendo's support site is. It's just a blank white field at this moment, to me at least.

Adding stupidity to injury. I Googled a Nintendo contact form to tell them about this. I found one, but it says IT'S ONLY FROM PEOPLE IN MALAYSIA. support-my.nintendo.com/hc/en-us/re… I presume the "/hc" in the URL is a country code, despite the "en-us/" right after it.

Contact form on Nintendo's site, saying it's only for use in Malaysia.

My favorite thing about the Buck Rogers in the 25th Century show was that they made a feature movie out of the first episodes, and they made a ridiculous version of the opening for it, with lyrics for the theme song, and scantily-clad women lounging on the show's logo.

#DragonCon I got this tiny TV styled media player at a table in DragonCon. I had to leave due to EVENTS and an at home now. It's supposed to be able to get files into it, but it doesn't show up when plugged into my laptop. Any ideas how to do that?

Can anyone explain why the updater on Manjaro does this? None of these things will update, and have been in this state for a week now, slowly adding to the list, but I'm afraid to mark them Ignored.

The updater in Manjaro Linux. It lists a sequence of updates to Flatpaks reading org.[something].Platform. They are all checked.

Once it gets that initial update though, it works much better. Repaper Studio doesn't seem to connect to the tablet through WINE, even after updating, but you can create a KVM virtual machine, put a Windows install on that, then assign the USB connection to the […] [Original post on mefi.social]
