I have now been advised by @cardiffcouncil.bsky.social that the problem seems to have been caused by Civica who printed and dispatched the postal vote packs, rather than with the Royal Mail. This is a fiasco. And some voters will have lost their chance to vote as a result.

Very sad to see the former Gaiety cinema on City Road now being demolished. Sadly Cardiff's Labour council had essentially left the building to rot since 2012 despite Lib Dem calls for the council to step in.

At the last council meeting, I moved a motion seeking to secure a cross-party call on the next Welsh Government to bring forward a clear, funded plan to rebuild the Heath Hospital. Operations & treatments are being postponed or delayed due to the state of some of the buildings. youtu.be/iKCWZg_zI1s

Today, I visited the 'Warm Space' at St Andrew's Church in Birchgrove. Initiatives like this provide a valuable opportunity for people to socialise - as well as to have somewhere warm to go if they are struggling with the cost of keeping the heating on at home in this cold weather.

Delighted to see the Senedd finally voted to bring in the regulations governing when Welsh public bodies must conduct Health Impact Assessments. I led on the policy work for this for @bmacymru.bsky.social when our lobbying led to it being included in the Public Health (Wales) Act 2017.
