Valve artists are actually vampires who sucked all the sauce out of Concord so Deadlock could thrive

My hotel room in Osaka has been upgraded to a "suite", but it doesn't have the bathtub with a view I specifically got the more expensive room for. So now I'm trying to see if they can "downgrade" me again but it's been 30 minutes since I contacted the front desk and no response #FirstWorldProblems 🫠

Amsterdam man, there was a guy in front of me in the airport security queue who had a black shirt on that just had the Fleshlight logo on it

If all my planned trips go ahead as intended I will have done 31 or 32 flights this year, my carbon footprint is not looking good

Both the Ghibli Museum and TeamLAB Planets are closed on October 1st so I need new ideas for what to do in Tokyo that day lol

I was wondering if the quality of Marley Spoon getting worse was just them trying to squeeze more money out of customers for a worse product but the US part did file for chapter 11 so I imagine the EU part isn't doing so hot either www.eqs-news.com/news/ad-hoc/...

Going on skeb to comission a piece for an inside joke that will come up exactly once and never again

I think one more session of big walk and we are done. Sadly scheduling has been a nightmare.

I decided it's time to use my Lufthansa upgrade vouchers but apparently that just puts you on a waitlist with no guarantee that the upgrade will go through. So we'll see. Might end up balling, might end up being a pleb :P

Trying to find nice flights to Tokyo for my vacation and wondering what kind of scam the "flexible" tickets some third-party sites offer are, because they don't seem to be a regular flex ticket but their own thing that doesn't do refunds?

My first gen Moto Tag has sent a low-battery warning today. It's not even 6 months old. So much for the one-year battery life...

One day I hope that travel websites defaulting to trips for 2 adults will actually be applicable right now it's just rubbing it in

020

Demuxed cancelled? Fuck it, I'm going back to Japan.

It's always fun to check your report history on YouTube (www.youtube.com/reporthistory) and see how the videos that are blatant scams or phishing attempts (e.g. fake game hacks) are never actually taken down.

I don't know how or under which laws, but it feels like Microsoft should be prosecuted for SharePoint.

People like fun at the FAA hiring gamers to become air traffic controllers but I've seen what StarCraft 2 players can do

110

Dennis @rodney.io · 10/08/2026

The way SimpleFlying writes their articles is asinine; The context of the story is reworded and repeated several times and the actual info you're looking for is buried in that word soup. I don't know if it's AI slop, SEO nonsense, or perhaps just so you scroll through more ads?

010

Dennis @rodney.io · 09/08/2026

I've only done Big Walk in a fairly large group (7 players) so far. I'm curious how 2 and 3 players compares since the puzzles are supposed to change.

Is it just me or does depth of field in Beast of Reincarnation kinda break when DLSS is on? Seems like the blur comes in much closer when using upscaling vs not.

My widebodycount: 3x 747 2x 787 2x 767 2x A350 2x A330 1x A380 Somehow I've never been on a 777. And probably won't get a chance to do an A340 before they're gone.

I think email providers should penalise companies that do this shit. It's spam. Just because they're Stripe they shouldn't be allowed to retain a good reputation for their domain.

010

Dennis @rodney.io · 20/07/2026

This time I was able to use the Global Entry app at SFO and holy shit is that a ridiculously fast experience. I pretty much didn't even need to stop to enter the US on this trip.

It's been over two months without a working dishwasher. The repair attempts in June failed and my landlord decided to just have it replaced with a new one. Now the contractor they hired ordered the wrong model and it didn't fit so now I have to wait another 2-3 weeks...

I wonder what browser I'll switch to once Manifest V2 is actually dead in Chrome. Firefox would be nice but that's just not viable. Edge is too annoying because Microsoft. Brave is crypto bullshit. Has Vivaldi done anything stupid yet?
