Maybe The Hobbit. I’m not sure if we would say it’s for children, though. Probably young adolescence can read it.

The Little Prince is narrated by an adult.

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

The Borrowers by Mary Norton. The main characters are tiny human-like beings and they are adults.

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 10/12/2024

Ouch. I hope it’s not too bad.

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 08/12/2024

You’ve inspired me to watch this movie again. I haven’t seen it since it came out. I was a long time ago.

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 06/12/2024

It’s funny how the more we treat AI like a friend the more it treats us like a friend.

I love this use case for Notion. One thing that Notion has going for it is how you can make pages look so good. I’m not sure I could accomplish anything so nice in Evernote.

You are one of those lucky ones to find work that you love. The parts of my work that I love I would do for free.

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

We met on Zoom. But I haven’t met a new person from Twitter on Zoom in forever. I have a new Thanh, though.

Going “work” for fun doesn’t fit into every one’s world view.

120

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

I can't believe how many typos were in my reply. 🤦

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

People are acquainted with the problems of democracy but not those of other systems. So its easy for them to assume things would be better if we lost some freedoms.

010

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

Yes. I even met one today. I have not do e tgat with a new Twitter friend in ages since tgete were no nre Twitter friends.

120

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

I need to do this. I get sucked in and it's not a good use of my time here or on any platform.

100

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

That's so cool. Congratulations.

110

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

Sounds like a lot of fun. I could get lost for hours in a game like that.

010

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

I don't think you are alone in that. It sounds like a bug. I wonder if it will accept to replace all of X with Y's even if Y is a continuation of the background.

000

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

Awesome, Kevon. You are in great shape to do a 16k trail run. Look good, too.

110

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

Do the se AI image generators have trouble processing negatives as in "do not do X" "do not include Y"?

120

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

I just saw you posted about creating Buffer. I help people build courses. I’m looking forward to seeing more of your posts.

000

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

It's great to see you making progress.

010

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

3k followers in 11 days. So a bit less than 300 a day. Good on you :)

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

I'm still at Stage 2 - it's been most of my life and I'm 47. I aspire to get to stage 3 when I'm 80

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

My guess is on A performing better since it's showing an endorsement.

110

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

I’m so sorry to hear that.

130

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

I hate that, too. I want to know if the price is something I’d even consider paying.

120

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

How do you find the right people to fill a starter pack? Asking for a friend.

021

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

Brings back memories of when my kids were really little. Such a fun time.

110

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

Awesome. What are you building?

110

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

I’m helping experts build courses.

000

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

Is there any data on how many lives might be saved? That can be very persuasive. And I’m totally in support.

000

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

I agree. Saves us time so we can have more fun.

010

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

Using keyboard shortcuts. Smart or lazy?

140

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

I love that use case for AI.

020

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

I just love speed. Why do something the slow way when you can go fast? More time to relax and chill later.

020

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

Awesome. I’m happy for you.

000

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

Got it. Thanks for your feedback, Adam. I love to read, long form in quiet moments, too when I’m actually ready to learn. I love your approach of reading with a notebook in hand.

010

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 29/11/2024

I wish I’d been there. I don’t live far. I’m so glad that he is so healthy and happy and still spreading joy to others.

000

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 29/11/2024

Failure to see from the perspective of the person trying to solve the problem? 🤷‍♂️

000

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 28/11/2024

This is why I love Bluesky. It promotes sharing instead of punishing it.

020

Rodney Daut @roddaut.bsky.social · 28/11/2024

I see. It becomes a virtuous cycle.
