1. Take photos of the building and a close up of the stone (~30 × 30 cm field of view)
2. Fill in the form on our website at 'Submit a Location' (www.londonpavementgeology.co.uk/submit-a-location/) and upload your photos. Include the location and postcode but you can leave other fields blank.
3. Click submit and we'll let you know when your location is live!

I visited Beatrix Potter's Hill Farm home last week and saw a collection of fossils and rocks she collected with her brother from when she was a child. She featured paintings of her finds in many of her stories. Here are a couple of photos of her fossils collection found in her bedroom.

Rockwatch families explored the Ice Age Coast at Skipsea Withow Mere with Brenda Almond and Mike Horne, finding glacial erratics, fossils and hazelnuts preserved in peat for possibly 6,000+ years! A fascinating day discovering how glaciers shaped Holderness.

Our recent Gamelands adventure began by investigating the distinctive granite stones of this ancient Cumbrian stone circle – with Shap Granite Quarry visible nearby. Then it was off to the limestone hills for some fantastic Carboniferous fossil hunting! A brilliant Rockwatch day of discovery!
