That storm was unexpected and intense, but bountiful. I just wish it had been long and slow instead of fast and hard. I'm heading off to the Quelab makerspace for their grand re-opening. I'm excited to see their new building. So much space for hands-on creativity!

Howdy all! I was up waaaay too late watching the slow drama at the Kennedy Center. After all the time it took to build the scaffold it took about 30 minutes to pull the letters off. Scaffold & curtains still up, MS NOW still streaming. No Kings!

Meowdy all, for Caturday, my 3 in their 1st, brief, close proximity. Only lasted 5 minutes, but progess! I've been planting lots of native flowers & shrubs + an Afgan pine, a Chisos oak and an Autumn Glow maple hybridized at NMSU to be tolerant of heat, cold, wind & drought. 🤞. I'm tired!

3 cats, a fluffy brown tabby, a black&white cow kitty & a black asteroid are uneasily lounging near each other. Human legs in green pants are also visible. This is the closest these cats have been to each other since tge asteroid joined the household 3 months ago. It lasted 5 minutes.

I finally got a photo of the big fuzzy bumblebee that visits the flowers in my back yard. It's probably a Golden Northern bumblebee. Seeing bees makes me as happy as sering hummingbirds.

After I got my new cactus home I dropped it. The Chaos Cat immediately helped out by lounging in the loose dirt.

A local tire store found the tiny sliver of metal causing a slow leaked, and fixed the popped-out section of my back bumper unasked, all for free. And they gave me a baby Claret Cup cactus!
