Hi all! I’ll no longer be updating my BlueSky account, at least not for the time being. I already have a lot of social media accounts and this one gets the least engagement. You can follow me elsewhere here! 😺 rockandroar.carrd.co?fbclid=PAZXh...

rockandroar.com/comic/ch-2-p... It’s a week-early post! And from here on out, I will try to post one page a week, every Saturday between the hours of 8pm and 9pm PST. Emphasis on *try* – I might not always be able to make it every Saturday. But I will do my best.

Character exploration sketches of Troy the highland bull! This sweet emoo is a bit of a class clown, a talented actor, and a brave friend who will use his strength to intimadate your bullies!

Alven Pine, a deceitful mockingbird, uses all kinds of tricks to make sure his signed artists become stars. Sure, he'll get you the record deal - but at a cost.

New sketches figuring out a redesign of Myrtle, who will be introduced in chapter 3! She is a courageous band manager, a sincere friend, tour bus driver and mechanic…this little hippie turtle (ask her about her time at Woodstock) does it all, and definitely deserves a raise.

Here are a few more character exploration sketches of Emma. The sitting pose is 100% referenced off a photo of Avril Lavigne from like 2002. Also, I owned those dang Converse boots. 😂 They had a zipper in the back, so they weren’t the lace-up nightmare they appear to be.

Outta the way! The kings of Metal are charging in!🤘🏼 Meet Steel Stampede, fronted by the legendary Grant Ruffalo. In the world of Rock & Roar, heavy metal music was originated by, and belongs to, animals with horns, and that’s the origin of the “🤘🏼” hand symbol.

I can’t write a lot on here, but I just posted the story behind this on Instagram! 🖤 This tale comes from a huge place of love and nostalgia. It is set during the 2000s, a time that saw the unprecedented mainstream rise of the third wave of emo.
