Similar to the penalty incident last night (and the one on Bruno in the Villa game). Clearly wrong decision, VAR doesn’t intervene, commentators seem to be happy yet not a single pundit thinks it’s anywhere near the correct decision 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah I’m still surprised we never went for Barcola - perhaps linked to going for Vini - but can still see the (purely financial) reason for selling Martinelli. I guess I could be tempted by a Rashford loan but if I were Utd I wouldn’t do it. Glad we’ve not gone for the likes of Ndiaye or Gakpo tho

I only heard about it on @footballcliches.bsky.social pod today but apparently just if you’ve played someone the past 2 years in a row in the group stages then you can’t play them again. Interesting rule but frustrating for English clubs!

No he’s fit now. Reporting seems to suggest Juve don’t want to sell and he has a reasonably long contract but context is missing that Juve are no longer a top tier side in Italy atm and not a CL side so it’s not really up to them, shouldn’t be too difficult to force their hand
