Chinese cargo ship Yi Peng 3 is under investigation by Swedish authorities for severing telecommunications cables between Sweden & Lithuania and Germany & Finland. The ship is still being held by a Danish navy patrol boat. My report on NPR's Morning Edition: www.npr.org/2024/11/21/n...

Denmark's Navy has confirmed that it is in the waters around the Yi Peng 3, a Chinese vessel sailing from Russia that, according to investigators, was in the waters above the Swedish-Lithuanian & Finnish-German underwater telecoms cables in the Baltic Sea when both were severed earlier this week.
