With the fastly increasing numbers of ex PMs its time to agree that you will not be laying a wreath for fallen at the Cenotaph unless you were elected PM in a GE and you served a full term. So only Cameron, Blair and Major..and the same for pensions and other benefits..

Had to do emergency pick up of sick daughter at reading fest.. left home at 4.45 but amazingly home in SE London by 8.15, which is very nice, and she was feeling better with a hot tea and toastie from Heston services. What i saw of the kids leaving was pretty grim, and it sounds like hell tbh.

Spurs lost, feel down, so to cheer up reading Ted Hesths autobiographty. Pretty fed up with rest is history and churchill atlee podcasts slagging him off, he was a very impressive politician, far better than any recent tory. The early 70s were bloody hard for any PM.

Dolly Parton was a, e great feminists. When she sang i will always love you, it was aimed at an abusive parter, she was empowered to walk away from. She felt sorry for him, and left.. Im very weepy tonight

I find it odd that the argentinian players are so keen to show support to the fascist dictator General Galtieri and his disaster invasion of the Falklands. In terms if creulty he is right up there with mass murder of liberals and intellectuals.

It struck me that AB speech was interesting. My thoughts handing over a lot more powers to mayors. One thought that immediately jumps out is corruption.just read private eye. National infrastructure needs to be centrally planned and central gov should have the power to overturn local regions too.

Not much of a huge fan of Starmer or his government. But the thought of any of the other leaders running the country or trying to deal with geopolitics fills me with utter dread. Vote on real issues that councils can change not palestine, small boats and cost of living #votelabour
