I've been too quiet about my stance on AI. This does not excuse me from being silent. From a writer who ironically focuses on the escapades of synthetic characters in a recovering dystopia. Creativity is the lifeblood of humanity, and thus it needs to be protected. Support this cause.

A shot of a small room for a building made of brick and steel. The floor has steel floor panels, the ceiling has smaller crossbeam styled panels and each walls is entirely made of bricks. To the right of the entrance of the room, are 3 white barrels with 1 on-top of the other two. At the back wall of the room is a pipe coming from the right side of the back wall then leads upwards by two sections up to the ceiling and then all the way to the left-side wall and into the wall itself. The back wall also has a vent at the top-right side of the wall. There's a fusebox that is slightly open on the right side wall, next to the pipe segment with the gauge on it. The left side of the room has two piles of boxes on wooden pallets, there's a fire extinguisher on a bracket on the left side wall around the center of the wall. There's also a siren with a loud speaker over the pallets of crates.

A closer view at the far-right corner of the room. The pipe coming from the back wall has a pressure gauge at the middle of the section, The fusebox has 3 fuses inside, each color coded with red, green and blue respectively. The fusebox door has a yellow high-voltage warning on the from of it. Above the pipe with the pressure gauge on it is a vent, close to the ceiling.

A closer view at the left-side wall of props. It shows the alarm above the pallets and the fire-extinguisher and bracket to the left. The pallet on the right has 8 boxes and is covered by a green tarp, strapped down to the pallet and the one to the left doesn't have a tarp and has 4 boxes loosely laying on the pallet with one resting on-top of the 3 other boxes.

Oh, that's not a fire extinguisher, that's an alarm siren that has opaque glass for some reason, I should fix that. Now that you mention it I should probably make something like that as a prop (I am awful and thinking of prop ideas)

ALSO small tip for anyone who makes normal maps in Unreal Engine and are wondering why they look "backwards" when implementing them, there's a small setting in EACH TEXTURE you have to tick for UE to use them properly called "Flip Green Channel". I don't know why it's necessary but it is.

Went crazy making a bunch of textures complete with hand-drawn normal maps to finally get the ball rolling on the campaign levels of my game. I still haven't made the first level yet but soon(tm). I'm quite proud of myself despite this being a small example. #gamedev #indiegame #indiedev

The image shows a room with brick walls, a metal floor and a ceiling of metal grate plates (I'm not sure how to describe it.) In the far left side of the room is a pile of assorted boxes, 3 small wooden boxes with metal edges stacked with 2 on the bottom and 1 on the top and a much larger fully wooden box behind the smaller ones. In the right side of the door to the room are three white barrels stack the same way as the smaller boxes. The left hand side wall has an alarm and the far wall has a vent placed on the top left corner of the wall.

The image shows an outdoor shot of the entrance to a small brick building tucked between two brick walls with tall concrete tiles protruding from each wall. The opening into the building has a grated metal frame around it. The floor leading to the building is the same as the inside of the building, metal floor tiles. The buildings room is contained with metal grate tiles but they have a cross-beam design compared to the ones on the door frame into the building.

Also, easy tells for bots include: - Very recently account creation date - Share a server they have never sent a single message in before. - Will say your profile picture is cool and ask if you made it - Bit harder to tell if you don't get many encounters but they also share a bio some times too.

I wanna tack something onto this that I've had to do recently. If you're a game dev and you want to send a download link to your game to people, DO NOT SEND THEM ONE UNPROMPTED, They will think you're hacked. Ask in VC first so they know it's you and then send it to them ONLY if they want it.

Just finished Intravenous 2 and man, it's the most fun I've had with any stealth game in such a long time. It's a huge improvement from the first game and I will eagerly wait for Intravenous 3 once it releases. I might play the remaster DLC of the first game and get the other endings.

I love double standards, being told that my microphone is too loud and I HAVE to use push-to-talk meanwhile in the same call the same person is eating rather noticeably with voice activation on and it's not subtle. I just want to play Peak man ffs.
