And you're near nice countryside, 2 hours from Skye and Ullapool, half an hour from the Cairngorms. Has an airport and train station. If English cities are too hot for you move to Inverness. 170
Rob Mac @robmacrae.bsky.social · 24/06/2026As cities go though I do like Inverness. It's never too hot in summer, not too cold in winter. Doesn't rain as much as where I am in the west. Population of 50,000, more of a large town than city, but it's the Highland's market town so punches above its weight for bars and hardware stores. 140
