Brilliant pace from Lewis today. A VERY well deserved podium. A stunning recovery from Ferrari’s strategic mistake. Max drove very well to win it. P2 for Kimi and retirement for Woody leaves an 84 point gap in the WDC. It would take a disaster for Kimi not to win it from here… #F1 #BahrainGP

Fred is right that Horner is a distraction. But he’s only able to be a distraction because Fred hasn’t done enough to put Ferrari onto a the right path. Improvements have been made, but many more are needed. Quickly! #F1 www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formul...

Nope. You said that you thought I’d be in the minority but haven’t been able to substantiate that. The one article you sent me highlighted the opposite. I’d say that makes you wrong. No need to reply. This is getting tedious.

Well, what a dreadfully dull and boring race it was at the Madring. I don’t understand how you can design a brand new track with virtually zero overtaking opportunities and give it a 10 year contract. Ridiculous. 🤷🏻‍♂️ #F1 #SpanishGP

Lewis is right. He was brought to Ferrari not just for his speed and driving skills, but for his experience. He knows what it takes to win championships. His changes have already helped. If Ferrari don’t listen now, they’ll continue to fall short. #F1 www.the-race.com/formula-1/he...

'Here there are no rules' - Hamilton calls Ferrari out
Lewis Hamilton has hit out at a lack of rules at Ferrari, after an Italian GP compromised by an early incident with team-mate Charles Leclerc

Norris wins it from Verstappen and Antonelli. Lewis P5 after the penalty with Leclerc P4. Ferrari 100% cost Lewis a podium, though. P2 or P3 was nailed on if he had stayed out under the VSC. Stupid, stupid, stupid. #F1 #HungarianGP

I know, but I’m pretty sure they’ve given fines for it in the past. If the options are time penalty or nothing, then it should be nothing. No-one else was impacted in the slightest.
140
Rob @robm.bsky.social · 19/07/2026
Yeah, I've given up trying to make sense of the stewards' decisions, tbh. Lap 1, everyone thinks it's racing incident (including George!) and they give a penalty. And then nothing for Charles when it looked like clear crowding. As for Ferrari, that was a complete mess. I hope it's just a fine...

Rob @robm.bsky.social · 19/07/2026
A really mature drive from Kimi to win at Spa. Another big jump in his championship lead, too. Woody was unfortunate to crash out in what should have been deemed a racing incident with Lewis. The stewards' decision making really needs looking at both for that and Charles' contact with Oscar. #F1

The cars are effectively deciding when and how much to deploy and harvest themselves. I’m not convinced that the behaviour of the new PUs doesn’t breach the “driving alone and unaided” rule, tbh. 🤷🏻‍♂️ #F1 www.motorsport.com/f1/news/why-...

It’s absolute joke to look at the Ferrari wing on safety grounds when they’ve had no issues. If there are concerns about Red Bull’s concept because of one of their drivers crashing twice and blaming it, then ban theirs. 🤷🏻‍♂️ #F1 www.the-race.com/formula-1/fe...

Charles drove very well. Excellent win for him, but he got a bit of luck with Kimi's issues. A very lucky P2 for Woody! A 16th Silverstone podium for Lewis. What a record! Getting to the point where a P3 feels disappointing is amazing! Hopefully, no post-race stewards BS... #F1 #BritishGP

Interesting race. Woody drove well to win but was under a bit of pressure at the end. Probably not quite as much as Max was from Kimi, though! Disappointing race for Ferrari. I struggled to understand the strategy for Lewis. P5 for him and only P8 for Charles despite starting P2 #F1 #AustrianGP

What a great #BarcelonaGP quali for Lewis. A first Ferrari front row start and so, so close to pole! I'm really hoping that he can compete for the win tomorrow. The Merc is clearly still the faster car, but with a good launch off the line and, hopefully, better tyre deg, there is a chance... 🤞🏻 #F1

They’re saying that they think it was something to do with how the drivers were entering the pits. A racing line issue rather than actual speeding, I think. There was obviously a weird issue. No way were there that many divers actually speeding!

Kimi really is on a roll! Five in a row is great and with Woody non-scoring (again!) he's well in control of the WDC. Lewis drove brilliantly, too. Two P2s in a row and now P2 in the championship! Brilliant to see him driving with such speed and confidence again. A bit of a crazy #MonacoGP! #F1

Kimi winning again was excellent. He’s so genuine, likeable and clearly fast! Yes, Woody was a bit unfortunate, but I can’t feel sorry for him. Hopefully, being 43 points behind in the championship will mean that he dials down the odious cocky smugness, but I wouldn’t bet on it. #F1 #CanadianGP
