Not Batman. Ageing entrepreneur. Apprentice husband. Musician. Linguist. Cook. Baker. Forager. Cricket fan. Bon-viveur. I drink and I know things. I support Ukraine in ending Russia’s illegal terrorist invasion by all means necessary.

Hand of a football (soccer) referee showing a yellow card. Used in football as a warning prior to any subsequent incident resulting in a red card and the offending player being sent off the field of play. Used here as a humorous indicator that the level of humour in this pun is dangerously close to the bottom of the barrel, and likely to induce a long howling agonising groan 😂

I believe Donald J. Tump was sent by God.
A black & white photo taken from a scene in Duck Soup, featuring Groucho Marx and Margaret Dumont. Superimposed cartoon callouts tell the story:
Margaret: “I believe Donald J. Trump was sent by God.”
Groucho: “Why? Did he run out of locusts?”

Occasional reminder for the orange-hued hard of thinking
Batman cartoon slap meme, where Batman is slapping Trump (not Robin). Batman is saying “RUSSIA DOES NOT WANT PEACE!”

The spirit of Janey Godley is alive and well in Scotland. Let us hope someone takes an opportunity to recreate this moment…

Parody lego kit entitled “My First Affair” featuring lego figurines of the CEO and HR Director of Astronomer hugging on the big screen at a rock concert. They were famously outed as having an affair at a Coldplay concert this week, when this exact scenario happened and they broke off their embrace in embarrassment the moment they appeared on camera. Oh dear, what a shame. Feel sorry for their partners and families.

If you’re going to steal a @dieworkwear.bsky.social post, at least steal it honestly 🙄

Russia is a terrorist state. Even when their naturalised citizens in the West pretend otherwise. I’ve blocked her. I recommend you do the same.
A conversation between a Russian woman based in California, who Dm’d me for an unknown reason. I am a vocal supporter of Ukraine; she defends Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in the most pathetic manner.

I picked up a well-thumbed paperback copy of a book called “The Lord The Rings” in the summer holidays aged 14. It was a thick book and I was bored, so I thought it should keep me occupied for a while. I had no idea what was in store, and was transfixed for hours on end taking in every detail of it.
