Making zines the old school way

Partially assembled zine. I'm physically cutting out and gluing each paragraph onto a template with a glue stick and scissors, and drawing the illustrations by hand.

I'm about to start work on this month's mini zine, which is about my successes & failures at stopping the doomscrolling. I'm also planning a little linocut. It's taking me a bit to get my brain together after getting a cold at the doctor and then all these trauma triggers, but it's happening!

I'll never forget being dragged to court and smeared as a stalker for speaking about what happened, and then being forced to sit sobbing in a full courtroom after the proceedings because of the "danger" to my abuser, who smugly admitted I didn't pose any threat except to their reputation.
