This one in Auckland, NZ, is fun

Robin Capper @robincapper.bsky.social · 29/03/2026

My new car is 2011, my old one (a Fiat Bravo kept as fine, but rare, but not worth selling is 2001). The Bravo got a little mate this week

That would be a 'no buy' from me. I do like the concentric speedo tacho in my Abarth 500, and wasn't sure I would. The classic four dials in my Fiat Bravo are nice, but the white face + green lighting means half hour of unreadable as the sun sets. Both have 120 km/h at the top, but our limit is 100

That's Auckland. I was walking at Mercer Bay (between Piha - Karekare) today and could see the showers coming in from the sea. Never actually got wet! :)

Following an Elon Model 3 and noticed the badge on the back looked a bit different, but familiar. Someone had been in the 1980s Ford Asia Pacific parts bin

My irrational car related event was less painful, bought a 1/43 scale model of the Fiat 11 year old me watched that won the 1977 Rally of New Zealand

I know it doesn't really amount to anything, in context of the destruction he's causing, but suppose it's going to get his crap livery too?
