I'm guessing the finale would have have been on the cards but the reaction to everything was so awful it was hard for the BBC to justify it. The whole thing was a mess and I doubt we'll learn why for a while more now.

I'd disagree with him about the Christmas Special. A finale with Tennant and Piper ending with the symbolism of the Doctor coming back together and leaving it for the next person would have been a nice closer for the whole era.

I get why they wouldn't but I would have cut all the MJ and Ned stuff. Maybe a shot of Peter seeing them across the street. Really make it feel like he's separated from them. And it would be 20mins shorter.

Oh absolutely - but where I live the only screens which have it as the premium priced ones - 4DX etc. So if you don't want to pay those prices Marvel is essentially telling you the other standard screens are inferior. Which might be a risk in this economy.

I don't use McDonalds but when I walk by they are looking really grotty these days. The pivot away from the family friendly aesthetic I suspect has built in trouble for the future in terms of a new customer base. My kids have never been interested in going.

Woke up to find the kids watching that Chocolate Factory show on Netflix. Nothing sums up the current culture better than a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory reality show where adults are the ones who compete. The Gene Wilder AI voice is so monotone you barely register it's supposed to be him.
