I don’t think the wider community understands the gravity of this attack. I would be shocked if providers are losing only $100M/day. The breadth and depth of the data here is worth far more than the ransom amount requested. I’m extremely suspicious. Blackstone cut everything to the bone too.

I always thought the need for a prescription for birth control was insane. I worked with a pharmacist (who happened to be a lesbian, amazing LGBT mentor!) who would dispense birth control to women who couldn’t get ahold of their doctors for a refill, before it was allowed. Learned a lot from her. ✊
