We have a national contest here in Ireland called the Young Scientists Exhibition. It’s a competition for school kids to show off their scientific discoveries etc. it gets national attention here in the press and on TV.

Why anyone would use Revolut as their main banking provider is beyond me. There have been enough warnings in the IT alone from customers who have been shafted. For God's sake, use a bricks-and-mortar bank like BOI or AIB as your main bank. Use Revolut for discretionary spending or when abroad.

That's an awful take. MJ was not an awful person, he was a winner. As he said on Last Dance, there is a price to be paid to pursue that greatness and it meant he had to be a bit of a prick at times to drive standards. But that was his profession and he excelled at it.

Just remember that this piece was written at a time when the ratio of CEO to average worker pay was 20:1. It’s 280:1 today. It was a time when there were thousands of independent newspapers and when corporations weren’t buying elections. Workers has good wages and income was flatly distributed.
