Meta settled because they knew what they had done. And now, everyone knows it. Social media shows behavioral addictions are as dangerous as chemical addictions. Cocaine and heroin are illegal, but Instagram is the preferred method of communication for young people.

RFK Jr told us he would clean up the food supply. This new rule doesn't "close" the GRAS loophole; companies can still use any chemical they want, as long as they disclose it. Are you a chemical expert? Plus, he can't even define ultraprocessed food. How can you regulate something you can't define?

I've been involved in several lawsuits against the food industry. While "regulation through litigation" is a time-tested method for improving consumer exposure to hazards, it's very hard to mount such a case against the food industry, even against ultraprocessed food (which is not even food).
