I prefer my historical inaccuracy with a couple of big, obvious tells so hopefully fewer people think a movie is trying to be more accurate than it is. Black Helen of Troy: sure, probably not original intent, but it’s an adaption, and that might let you know everything else is an adaptation too.

Bigotry across the board has gotten way too acceptable of late. Things were better when bigots were thought of as the horrible uncle who shows up at thanksgiving and everyone mostly tolerates rather than a valuable constituency to chase.

The specials feel different, in a transitory "this is not meant to last" way, while 15 was meant to last. Also, bigotry. I would also put "The War Between The Land And The Sea" as a key part of the RTD2 era, or the empty space that exists because Disney never aired it.
