Why not open one along Japan’s Shimanami Kaido bike trail? It spans 60 kms across some islands!

Ironically it had to have a little weight added. Yeah the year after I made a tear drop shaped car with a wing. Worst performing car there hahah

I had one as a kid in Boy Scouts that was literally just the block of wood with stickers on it and somehow won every race.

Considering there are now 1k of you following over here, I'm taking this as an OK time to repost that I'm still on the hunt for a new role. I'm a front-of-the-front end type that likes working in that UX/accessibility gap that most teams have. Some details linked in this post:

Probably a dumb question. But if I have a service running in a docker container and it’s something like server.local:port number. How do I forward it to domainname.local? In my homelab? #buildinpublic #homelab

Friendship is suspicious and must not be tolerated under any circumstance. Snarkiness aside, this is one of the key points of my book The Secret Life of Data: once we start datafying human emotion, it becomes subject to the whims of algorithms and their operators. Policed. Punished.

😮 Bluesky pro-tip: in the accessibility settings, you can enforce that the images you post must have alt text. This is important for folks who use screen readers. Instead of seeing the image, the supplied text will be read to them instead.

Screenshot of the Bluesky settings page, under "Accessibility Settings". There is a toggle labeled "Require alt text before posting".
