It pains me to say it, yes I want England to win tonight, but I do think highly of Haaland, the Norway player. What the hell is Norway’s manager doing subbing Haaland off in such a crucial game. #fairplay.

Choose football. Choose fairness. Choose kindness. Choose love. Choose life. Etc etc.

I got up at 5 this morning to watch it on catch up. Great win for England.

I always thought Columbia were a bad football team, but Paraguay have exceeded that. Dirty horrible football.

They’re awful. A weak referee and a waste of time VAR, doesn’t help. Should have been quite a few yellow cards for them, and maybe a red.

Just give Cape Verde the cup now. what a great performance from a tiny nation. It outshadows Argentina’s victory.

2-2 if you have ever been to Cape Verde, you will understand their players ethos, their resilience etc.

That’s not going to help me much then, as my local council is Reform controlled (north Northamptonshire). We do still have a Labour MP though!

The Dharma Chain’s new Album is great. Was hoping they would play Northampton again, but nothing announced.

Yes Bedroom was pretty special when I first heard it. Seen Bdrmm live about 7 times. The songs from their debut are always their best, imo.

I went straight in with it because it blew me away when I first heard it. No other album has done that this decade. There are many great debut albums I could have put in my 5, but I think the ones I have chosen are the most played.

I hope my advice helped! Glad you are listening to music how it should be heard, other than live, of course.

The stylus pressure - you have to put that weight on the end with 0 facing at 12 o’clock. Slide back and forth until the arm is horizontal, when free hands. Once you have achieved that. Turn the dial to about 15, or what ever is recommended. A bit fiddly but not difficult.

Great choice there Si. Rega are great, I am sure, but they are pricey. If I afforded one of those, you’d need a £1000 amp and £1200 speakers!

I am happy with mine. I upgraded the Ortofon stylus, only because the original one got damaged. You are probably best going to RS to check it out.

Depends on your budget but I went with the pro-ject carbon evo. Around £400. Good enough for what I need.
