In their third episode our intrepid hosts endeavor to solve the question that has perplexed man since the dawn of time: Jazz? Or Djent? Not surprisingly this one’s coming down as a split decision. The boys get their hands dirty with 10 new songs! Here are three things they talk about and one thing they definitely don’t: Can you/should you separate the art from the artist? Were all the members of the Partridge Family hooked on drugs? Why do bad things happen to good people (i.e. Damon)? If you don’t know Queensryche, did you even 80’s, bro? The songs discussed are: Damon: “Paint a Vulgar Picture” by The Smiths “Sam Stone” by John Prine “Gaucho” by Steely Dan “Garden Party” by Rick(y) Nelson “I’m the One” by Danzig Robert: “Reverie/Harlequin Forest” by Opeth “Suite Sister Mary,” by Queensryche “Let Go” by Frou Frou “Reptile" by Periphery “The Royal We” by Silversun Pickups Have a listen on our companion playlist on Apple Music: https://music.apple.com/us/playlist/damon-and-roberts-five-songs/pl.u-qxyllaJIY7qxZ OR the Youtube version! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVCYCgf4YTBwjs2xd23-iHj9zDavEGEvX Executive Producer: Travis [Video note: Yes, I realize the lighting is subpar.
