Just for fun, I thought I would use AI to design an antenna - Oh dear...
What is claimed to be a "clean, electrically correct schematic-style of the finished antenna, based on everything we've discussed". I don't even know where to begin describing the diagram!

I found these in a dusty corner of Smith's a few years ago and cleaned out their stock. I don't think they knew what they had!

I have spent some pennies on one of these... It should be arriving today, and I am ridiculously excited!

What about this one? The advert even says it's portable.

I've just looked it up and it was 16 programs. So two cards which could be inserted eight ways. i.ebayimg.com/images/g/h2k...

Lolwut?!? Then it's not actually a 16-bit Bidirectional I/O port, is it?
The datasheet for the MCP23017 proudly states that it has a 16-bit remote bidirectional I/O port. It then goes on to say that two of the pins are for output only.

Return of the Vermicious Knids!
A large egg-shaped object with eyes. I am reliably informed its a Unicorn, not a Vermicious Knid.

Indeed - It's also against the IARU's code of conduct:

Back to writing a simulator/ emulator. It's a while since I've done one. (I must be a glutton for punishment). This time, it's a #DataGeneral #Nova.

This was the cause of some very colourful language. Of course, the code on here was the ONE project I don't have a backup of... 🤬

Apparently, this is a reindeer head. Not a Vermicious Knid - whoops 😬

Yesterday evening, I finally managed to get my #RC2014 real time clock board working. Note to self - when ordering parts make sure you check the datasheet! What I thought I ordered (Left) vs what I actually ordered (Right) 🤦
