Yup with my JoypadOS USB2USB adapter it can be converted into Steam, 360/Xinput, PS3/PS4, OG Xbox, and Switch USB output.

I have been asking the same question and so far I don’t think it does have any kind of accel/gyro sensor. The mouse mode just maps dpad and buttons to a mouse output

Did you know Intel made a controller? The Intel Wireless Series gamepad. Looks like a toilet seat. Plus it needs its base station and Win98-era software or it’s a paperweight. Added it to JoypadOS. USB in, normal USB pad out. Works pretty much anywhere now.

I have been playing with using the IMU to map my head tilt to one stick and freeing the tongue for button action. We totally could combine this with eye tracking. With my joypad.dev project I can combine any number of input devices and combine them into a single gamepad output

Firmware is open source and I have had it mapped to mouse also. So anyone could pretty easily vibe code this device to do anything. Would be fun to replicate the original desktop app for it in a web ui and then have it talk to JoypadOS through the virtual serial port it presents.

So the one piece of the puzzle remaining would be making it so that JoypadOS can output as a DS3 over BTClassic. I’ve not thought about this but it’s doable.

These are exactly the types of things I want to make possible with JoypadOS. I don’t have a PSP or I would jump on this. It should be possible and can be done now through USB using my BT2USB you can turn any controller into a DS3 that a real console will see as an actual PS3 controller.
