The story of its publication is insane. He basically had to delivery it on a particular day or lose the publishing rights to everything he’d written so far. Wrote it in like 6 months and turned it in at a police station because the publisher locked him out on the due date.

Finally looking at replacing my beloved 17 year-old audio PC, and the Mac mini seems like a way better deal than anything else. I haven’t used a Mac since college, but windows is shit now, and I want something that will last a decade.

I love it, keep a two bag/month subscription. You can extract the hell out of them without bitterness, but I’m starting to use lower temps and courser grinds for more subtle results. Their coffees linger in that way I love.

The tinniest coffee beans I have ever encountered. Fun fact: before cupping, coffee importers rated the beans based on size. Bigger was better. Extremely wrong!

I saw this band in a little club in Norman ok. I was nicely chatting with the singer right before the show, and he finally said ok I gotta go, pulled on his mask, jumped on stage, struck up the band, and then immediately spit fake blood on the 5 people in the front. He was a really nice guy.
