Restaurant food is rarely cheaper. The actual price of let’s say, a chicken wing and all the spices and sauce on it, should be about 23% of what is charged. The rest of the markup is labor, rent, taxes and such. Hopefully there’s some profit in there too.

I had the displeasure of renting a car from a local Hertz rental location. They gave me a Tesla with a nearly empty battery and instructions to a charging station. Made me 30 minutes late for a meeting. BTW, Teslas suck. Too many steps just to adjust the mirrors. Horrible car.
