I love the detail in this rain shader - you can see the leaves from outside refracted in the raindrops! (I didn't write it myself - it's adapted from this incredible tutorial - www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBrA...) #gamedev #indiedev

That is some impressive attention to detail! How long does something like that take to make?

Really pleased with how the candles turned out in Strange Antiquities! My favourite thing to do with them is to create a little shrine to Jupiter, the cat. #gamedev #indiedev

Bad Viking Games (Rob & John). Strange Antiquities OUT NOW! @badvikinggames.bsky.social · 21/10/2024

Hi. We're indie devs making Strange Antiquities, our follow-up to Strange Horticulture. It's about collecting, identifying, and curating occult artefacts, running a shop, helping the townsfolk. Sherlock Holmes-y, dark academia, atmosphere, and mystery. Follows appreciated. #indiedev #gamedev

Wait, does Bluesky actually show your posts to people? I have almost 0 followers but people seem to be finding my posts. That never used to happen on the other place!

I guess this is my new home now since Twitter deleted my account 😔 I'm a game developer, working on a game called Strange Antiquities about running a shop that specialises in arcane artefacts. It's the follow-up to a game called Strange Horticulture. #gamedev #indiedev

A view of the candle-lit shop interior, with strange-looking items on the shelves and a cat on the counter.

For what it's worth - I (begrudgingly) complied and sent them my driver's license as proof that I was older than 13 when I first created the account, but they went ahead and deleted it anyway. Their support is a joke.

Twitter deleted my account because I gave them a fake birthday so here I am, yelling into the void. I never posted much anyway, but it's a shame to have lost the people I follow and who followed me back.
