Want to create a fluffy text animation with the new Adobe Firefly Video Model? 🚀 Here’s a step-by-step guide on how I did it, using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator: 1. Start in Photoshop: Use the ‘Generate Image’ feature with the prompt “grass shot from above” to create a grassy background. 1/

In case you’re still unsure why it’s better to use Signal instead of WhatsApp: And... @signal.org is every bit as user-friendly, and you’ll notice virtually no difference in day-to-day use. #signal #whatsapp #meta

The difference between Signal and Whatsapp:

Signal:
Your data stays private
Fully encrypted chats + minimal metadata
Independent, non-profit, no ads
Fully open-source and auditable
Secure, encrypted local backups
No ads, no tracking
Full control over your data
Built for privacy by experts

Whatsapp:
Shares data with Meta
Chat content encrypted, metadata less so
Owned by Meta; data monetized
Partially open-source, not fully transparent
Cloud backups often unencrypted
Data used for ads (Meta ecosystem)
Limited user control
Designed with business in mind

Listening to one of my all-time favorite albums from the early 2000s: The Corrs Unplugged. Recorded live, October 5, 1999, at Ardmore Studios in Ireland for MTV Unplugged, this performance is simply brilliant. The entire Unplugged series was iconic, so well executed. I think it’s time for a revival!

Just a fun experiment with Adobe Firefly ;-) While visiting Vigo, Spain, I came across illuminated letters in a mall (you can see them in the video below). I immediately thought that these glowing letters could make a great Style Reference in Adobe Firefly. 1/5 #ai #firefly #adobe

Ontbijtkoek is one of my favorite breakfasts 😋. It’s a Dutch delicacy, and “ontbijtkoek” literally means “breakfast cake.” So, I thought: why not turn it into a little creative project using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Firefly? Find all the steps, and the video below 🎉 #firefly #ai 1/7

Have you ever tried the new Core Tools workspace in #photoshop ? It cleans up the workspace a lot, and only shows the panels and tools (!) you probably need most when you're just getting started. 🎉

Loved the sunset! 😍😍 #thenetherlands #zeeland

Sunset in Zeeland, The Netherlands. You can see some reeds at the front of this image and behind them sea and a cloudy sky.

Yay 🎉, just changed my Bluesky handle to my own domain robdewinter.com . You can do that yourself if you have your own domain name and have access to your DNS records or FTP server). Go to Bluesky Settings > Change Handle and choose “I have my own domain”. It's very easy.
