They all are. I think Cooper will get there eventually. He just had 22-11-4-3-2 with zero turnovers in a win over the No. 2 team in America who is physical as hell. As a 17-year old. I think there's an element of still learning exactly what he is.

010

I hear you, what makes Cooper special isn't as loud as, say, Zion, but for context: When Cooper Flagg is as old as Johni Broome he'll be in the second year of his second NBA contract.

Don't let Kam Jones get hot ...

Keshon Gilbert is the most underrated player in college basketball. Josh Hubbard is No. 2

020

There are always going to be flaws in UConn's defense because they just don't have the same level of defender this year as they've had. But the effort tonight, the rotations, have been terrific since about the 14 minute mark. With the weapons they have offensively, that's enough to be really good.

061

I think those last three possessions really sum up my big picture concern for Kentucky this season. With the obvious caveat that this is a road game against a good Clemson team, all three ended with threes from guys that can make threes but you'd hardly consider a shooter.

050

I feel for Louisville. They brought in 12 new guys this summer. Four of them are now redshirting due to injury, and that doesn't include Aboubocar Traore, who is out with a broken arm. Three of their top six guys are out.

170

Ole Miss is very real. They were a box out away from taking Purdue to overtime in San Diego, and they are absolutely putting it on Louisville in the Yum! Center right now.

John Calipari really changed his entire collection of suits, shirts and ties from blue to red just to roll out a team whose offense is this unappealing to watch. Tyson Chicken punching air right now.

This episode of the GP Show opens on Memphis’ 99-97 victory over UConn — and why, given the context, it’s the biggest win of Penny Hardaway’s career. 24:50: @robdauster.bsky.social joins me. 51:50: Ja is back. www.youtube.com/live/vu2rq63...

🚨NEW TOP 25🚨 What did I get wrong?

4100

Queen’s got maybe the least aesthetically pleasing game in college hoops but you look up at the end of the game and he’s got 22-11-5. He had 24-7-3 against Marquette. He’s really good.

240

Eric Dixon vs. Derik Queen has been surprisingly enjoyable today. Villanova falling off has made Dixon maybe the most underrated player in America. There aren’t ten guys better than him right now.

4110

That shouldn't be happening. I do think Georgia is going to be in the mix for an at-large bid at the end of the day. At least a top 75ish team on KenPom. So this isn't a devastating loss by any stretch. But it's one that the Johnnies, if they were a top 25 teams, should have gotten.

010

Part of it is probably the 10am local time tip after a weekend at a resort in the Bahamas when you're playing a Georgia program that hasn't been good in years. But I do think there is reason to be concerned about playing Kadary and Deivon together. Two point guards and stagnant half court offense?

210

They forced 24 turnovers. They got 21 offensive rebounds. They scored 31 points off of turnovers or second chances. That should be enough. But the Johnnies managed just 32 half court points and went 2-19 from three. That just isn't going to cut it.

I'm not ready to cut bait on St. John's just yet. They were 24-48 from three in their first two games in the Bahamas -- a game they gave away against Baylor and an emphatic win over Virginia -- but today's date with Georgia showed us the downside of the system that Pitino is building there.

130

They have room to grow offensively for sure. I don’t know if there is actually a point guard on this roster. Too many of their possessions right now end if Cooper or Kon isos that lead to tough twos. That should improve by March, and with that defensive floor, that’s scary.

Thinking about Duke’s win last night. What they are defensively is so impressive. They completed eliminated Arizona’s post offense, second chance points and transition game. Arizona has their own issues right now, but for a team that young to go on the road and control a game for 40 minutes?

A way to stream video, and a broadcast similar to spaces. It will be hard for us @thefieldof68.bsky.social to fully migrate over at the cost of the views we get on those broadcasts.

IT WORKED!!!!!!!! JEREMY ROACH!!!!!

Scott Drew asking for a review on a non-existent elbow to ice the shooter, gotta love it lol

170

St. John’s is just carving up this Baylor defense. It looks an awful lot like what Gonzaga did to them. They’re up 34-19, and the Bears are all kinds of out of sorts.

I’m tired of hearing about Feast Week today. Feast Week doesn’t actually start until the first Maui game tips off. This is just MTE Season. I’ll die on this hill

Purdue's also tried to switch everything 1-5 in the halfcourt and it's burned them a couple times. It's clear they're not quite there yet with it. But they're taken a pretty significant punch from a top ten team on the road and they're within striking distance at the under eight.

071

This is the kind of matchup that really exposes Purdue's lack of a secondary creator that can replace Lance Jones. Marquette's ball-pressure has Foster Loyer in a blender. Braden Smith has played well, but asking him to beat two guys every possession is an impossible task.

2191

Kam Jones is putting on an absolute show tonight. Completely controlling everything on the offensive end for Marquette. I'm old enough to remember when people said he couldn't be a lead guard.

3385

There are six minutes left, Maryland is up by 64 points and the starters are still in. How is this a good thing for anyone involved? They gotta change this.
