Yes, it's a nice cost, yes they are somewhat decent devices when they work, but from my experience, you'll be paying for them in other ways. That aren't worth it.

If I'm watching something? It'll ignore the device and go through the speakers. OR it'll acknowledge the device, BUT it will play at the WRONG audio level so I have to test my audio each time I PLUG IN MY CONNECTOR.

PLUS, thanks to the headphones going bad, it's worse, cause I don't know if it's the connector, the headphones, or both. They connect eventually. But still. The connector device, is STILL NEW.

I'd connect my connector to the ipad. I push play on a video. The ipad speakers play. For a solid several minutes sometimes. I have to unplug then replug them back in. Sometimes that STILL does not seem to work.

This new little connector? I had to get a new one because the apple one that I was using started to twitch out. The ipad? Of course, it connected perfectly to the ipad product. The laptop? That isn't an apple product? It connected flawlessly.

So, we make the trade, we hand off the goods, and go about our marry ways. A little bit later my nephew started getting on again. He was building something else and needed a supply of stone. He agreed to the gunpowder but I tell him he's lucky I didn't raise the price and I'll tell him why later.

Then he asked about my beacons and if I had any nether stars. I smiled and offered him the going rate. Five stacks of gunpowder for 1. Then he made a counter offer. He upped the cost from 5 to 6 stacks of gunpowder. I blink and ask if he's sure, he is.

More of a mutual exchange. Then things happened and days came and went. I lost and regained stuff and people puttered about the server like usual. My dad played and completed a thing or two and a farm or so here and there.

You know that feeling you get when you find something in a video game like a supposed glitch or feature and suddenly, you do it to? There was a downside though. After the wither died, the only thing it spawned was the star. I grabbed the first one and looked at it for a few seconds.

Well. To my surprise, when I get down there, I find a similar looking structure at all the right spots. I dig around it to open it up, just in case things go wrong. I count the bedrock. Look at it's formation. Take a second look around. Satisfied, I start to build the wither.

So when I got there, I was delighted to find it. A mushroom island is a mushroom island after all. So I start digging down towards the coordinates. Again, like I said, I had no idea what I'd find down there. Firmly believing it to be nothing. I pop down into the cave.

But I was surprised that it was still closer than I thought. Another bonus is it was over a mushroom island though. If you don't know, a mushroom island has a unique feature: no hostile mobs spawn anywhere around it. Anywhere.

A village on the horizon in the overworld is just a hop skip and a jump away while in the end, that floating end city in the distance? Yeah it's separated by two chasms, a drop off, and a hole you don't see unless you look. So I was not surprised when I flew past my map boundary.

Like usual, I don't expect to find anything. There are a couple of spots nearby my sections of the map and I head to one first. Close by, is sometimes a gross simplification in minecraft distance. Especially in the end.

This was in the overworld. The method was the same. Build, spawn, suffocate. The difference was, this was directly on the bottom bedrock floor. Easy to get to thanks to elytra and other transport methods. So I gather my stuff, and head out.

The method was, find coordinates, build the wither in a specific way. It appears. However, due to it's code, it spawns in a particular way each time. There are clever, common ways to do it. Specifically in the end or the nether in some places.

When I find wiki things, it's normally so old it's been patched out already. NORMALLY. This, was more of a method than a farm. I don't normally play on bedrock, but, that's what our server was, so I figured I'd give it a try.

Granted, I lose everything but eventually get it. However, I find myself casually browsing minecraft wiki stuff and happen on the farms page. There is, of course, one for the wither. NORMALLY.
