well shirt came off, earbuds came out and I look inside my shirt and here comes this absolute unit of a beetle crawling out of the neck hole. It was in my shirt. Chirping. 🥺 I let it crawl onto my hand and put it on the deck. here it is.

photo from my camping trip. This was taken at the entrance to the trail I needed to hike to my cabin. I bailed on it after hiking 3kms (of ~7 total) through snowpacked trail through the hills. Hastings Rd is still closed due to snow. Fundy National Park, NB.

nice. I have a little mutant plant that makes some tiny peppers, and they’re borderline habanero hot. This plant was a stick in a solo cup over winter, then started putting out leaves. Then peppers. It’s been going strong for 5 years.
