I stopped using Google AND Apple Maps when they got on board with Gulf of America. I get around by bike/walking/subway, and use several apps to discover new routes: Organic Maps, Magic Earth, OsmAnd Maps, Here WeGo, Pocket Earth, CityMapper, MTA NYC transit app, and Mapquest. We have LOTS of options

Yes. This is my dilemma. I have been Apple all my life: Phone/computer/smart home ecosystem/etc. I’m perfectly willing to switch — but I don’t want to jump from one devil platform to another. We need another alternative. For now I’m just not buying any new devices for as long as I can
