Van Jones said today that Trump is smarter that he is and the gentleman he was talking to agreed. The Democrat party is not what it once was years ago. But.. Many Black Americans like Trump so I do not believe he is racists.. I just pray that he will lift up all Americans.. then we all win.

Hi My point is about ratios of the population. Blacks make up 13% of the population but committed 6,405 murders. So blacks committed 72% of the murders but are only 13% of the population. Slavery and lack of opportunity helped to cause this. I am just saying let's fix it. Too many are dying. Sad.

Well, I do not necessarily hang out with any but I have helped a few family members and kids of friends with Go Fund Me when they were hurting. And gave to churches to help people. But also have a couple relatives who are on government housing and food assistance.. Lots of hurting people out there.

Yes.. of course they are all not lazy... not much is "all of anything"... Hopefully the economy will improve so more jobs are available... and if only we can make trade schools free and then companies can hire them for on the job experience. Perhaps be compensated for doing so for a short while.

Agreed.. Sometimes it is just all about bad luck, hard times and missing that last critical paycheck.. I think everyone is all for a helping hand up..especially for kids! But a long term living wage can breed laziness and total lack of motivation. The thought of homelessness kept me going to work!

Good points! Many of us worked hard to get what we have.. no free ride. Helping the needy... many MAGA peeps do that because we do have compassion.. But more importantly is far better to help them learn to feed themselves and have a little self pride.. NOT a free ride. Then all the boats will rise.
