The Kursk incursion worked because Ukrainian forces were able to take the Russian defenses by surprise. Now that they no longer have the element of surprise on their side, attempts to cross the border in the Belgorod region result in needless losses of personnel and equipment.

Three years ago, on 7 March 2022, eyewitnesses described Russians occupiers deliberately aiming artillery at the dome of St. George's Church in Zavorichi village. The church burned down as a result of the shelling. Over 149 religious sites have been destroyed by Russia in Ukraine since 2022. ✝️ 🇺🇦

According to Deepstate, some russians have crossed the Oskil river in the Kupiansk direction with boat landings. The result of this raid is not clear yet. Some sources are claiming it has been repelled while others are claiming there is now a beachhead. We are awaiting footage.
