One of my most used expressions at the moment.. I thought about how to translate 'Na eh' to english. But it's a lot of meaning in two 'words' in Austria. Something like 'Duh', 'Obviously' and 'Figures' I guess? Very hard to describe. But I love how it fits with my waldrapp 😅 #inkart

To all non-native-english speakers: What language are you writing/posting in and why? Every time I think about posting something, I can't decide what language to use. Have written all my posts so far in English, because for me this is the lingua franca of "the internet". And I do want to use it.

huh. Hab mich schon gefragt, wie die das machen, weil Amazon ja sonst auch seine Verkäufer verliert. Das hab ich nicht gewusst. Dankeschön. Aber ja. Super. Wird sich eine tolle Industrie bilden um die kleinen Shops abzuziehen.. Und dann wirds erst recht nicht vereinfacht. Weil verdienen alle dran.

More solarpunk or cyperpunk titles would be nice 😊 I think of Sable and Jusant with lovely solarpunky vibes. Synergy sits on my wishlist 😄 Haven't played the big Cyberpunk (time!) but was huge fan of Deus Ex. Would love to see that one revived. Any small games i should consider in the meantime?

That's an awfully broad question. There are lot's of lovely indie games. Big players just don't do a lot of new and/or small titles atm. That's sad. Though I am guilty of playing the 100th Assassins Creed an Final Fantasy Remake myself 😅 Would also chime in and wish for more interesting settings..

In rl i prefer agile. You can't know everything in advance for good waterfall planning... With projects I have the problem that most customers want waterfall planning and give you content like working agile 😅 Both have advantages though. What's your experience?

I do think that in a changing world we would all do well to incorporate a little more agile planning to our lives. You don’t have to do it full blown, like I do. But looking around, people have made their life plans the waterfall way and are now pissed of that the world is changing. 4/6

I don’t believe in a life plan. I don’t believe in working and doing stuff “you have to do” until some well deserved retirement. In my worldview there is no retirement. There’s just the environment changing and me changing with it. Or the other way round. But change itself is inevitable. 3/6

Plan driven or agile life plan? What is yours? One of the first things we learned about in the first semester was the software engineering process. And in this process the two main planning strategies: “plan driven development” aka. “the waterfall model” and “agile development. 1/6
