Very nice! I was shooting that just last night. This is about 70 minutes, de-noised, with a Seestar S30 Pro.

On Oct 23, Venus reaches inferior conjunction, appearing (almost) directly between the Earth and the Sun. They will be perilously close; don’t try looking for it unless you’re an experienced solar observer. Here’s an early view, taken today at 1:22 PM Pacific time, 17.2° away from the Sun.

Another view of the recent aurora over Hella, Iceland. Nine second time lapse, or about a minute 45 real time. Heading back there tomorrow, and expecting an even stronger light show. Enjoy! #astronomy #weather #photography

Nice pic, since we all know how the iPhone hates the Moon. Tonight’s rise was breathtaking. Enjoy.

Until now, I never lived where I could watch the Moon rise. It’s stunning, and it never gets old. Grab a pal and a seat and try it. #astronomy #photography #moon

Is Remnick even reading this crap? Why aren’t you talking about Trump dismantling our government in bankrupting our country? This is as tone deaf as the ads you were promoting in 1929 the week the market crashed.

I’ll bet the author and publisher never thought that would one day they would need to update this book. From my personal collection; a disturbing but important volume.

I’ll be up early catching the pas de deux from this side of the pond, and look forward to any images that you post. Here’s an early look at the performing duo from my neck of the woods.

This one is probably not on anyone’s ‘favorites’ list, but it’s an important, albeit disturbing, book.

Thanks; here’s the video it was pulled from, taken with an iPhone close-coupled to the eyepiece of my Questar Seven. You can see how Chat GPT washed and waxed the frame I pulled from the video (I was curious to see what Chat would do to the image).
