It was making me crazy that the pink was so bright on top but barely took on the bottom half of my hair so I put purple over it. Much better. (Slight filter applied on the first photo.)

Hell yeah. Washington DC. In line to go through customs before we get our checked bags so we can fucking recheck them (WHY???) and get a shuttle to Terminal A and hopefully not miss our connecting flight (which we probably will). Will report back on whether or not I pee my pants in the interim.

Mixed feelings about Holbox but you can’t argue with the beach. Scared to see what this place will look like in a year or two though. Lots of construction going on (yet not a single place to play pool?) and the food is already an overall disappointment compared to inland Yucatán.

I’ve been in Mexico for six days and the sun (and probably mineral-heavy water) have bleached most of the red out of my hair. I almost want to stop wearing my sun hat when we go out around town just to see what happens. Jon’s of course is just gaining beautiful highlights while his skin gently tans.
