Reading online (from a good site) fans are upset that #BB28 AFH vote isn't "spreading the wealth". I think because Devens won both. FYI... Twenty-one seasons with AFH vote. Only two. TWO times as the AFH been the season winner: Taylor Hale. Rick Devens. Sounds like wealth spread to me.

Everyone wants there to be some independent group of smart people who will only follow the rule of law and truth and facts. But when you have a world now filled by corrupt people who know how to rig the system.. how do you get there? And how do you protect it?

Just think you need a lot more details. Who appoints them. For how long? How do you replace? You have this ideal I'm sure of a Dem president setting this up.. but then how do you prevent a future Republican from tearing it apart? Or vis-versa.

But who appoints those people? Anyone appointed can bring in the biases of the ones who submitted them. And you have to think of it not only from the pov of if an Orange menace in power, but a liberal Dem.

The problem is that the current build of the DOJ is subject to the whims of whomever is in charge. The other problem is that under Biden/Garland they were FAR too cautious to try and appear neutral (remember Smith wasn't appointed until Nov '22). But I'll also admit I'm not sure how to fix it.

Not sure why but the Phillies remind me of the "wilderness" Blue Jays teams (from 1998 running through 2014). Always had some great talent (Delgado, Halladay, Green off the top of my head) and high expections... every year a flop. I mean at least the Phillies were making playoffs.

You know how we can get "rebates"? Once these government funded (i.e. paid by us) ads get declared illegal the money spent should be refunded to us... along with all the legal fees associated with having to challenge the blatant illegality.
