True. But it still would be factually incorrect to declare that all pizza sucked just because you had a bad initial experience with it.

If your only use of AI is Gemini search results then that's like saying "All pizza sucks because the one frozen pizza I tried was terrible".

The understandable impulse to protect children from the horrors of the past has a downside. I saw my first survivor tattoo on my mom's friend's arm when I was 7. I'm sure it was hard for Mom to have to explain what it was. But at least I learned young about what we faced.

The fact of the matter is, the man is freaking Teflon-coated. He gets away with crap very few other people could get away with, and he does it consistently.

Maybe I'm the weirdo here? I have an online to-do list and I have a schedule. So does my husband. We can look at each other's schedules and it's a good reminder for things like when I need to start dinner. Or if I'll be home for dinner at all. It's pretty basic and pretty helpful.

Over two days of testing, Hunterbrook found that Muse can be prompted to compile dossiers on Facebook and Instagram accounts belonging to members of vulnerable groups – including undocumented immigrants, transgender teachers, poll workers, and more. hntrbrk.com/breaking-new...

That’s not the point. That account has 95K followers and it spews toxicity. Blocking them doesn’t make their reach go away.

If people want to get upset about surveillance internet, that’s not ridiculous. But it would be nice if their concerns were based in reality. And not drenched in antisemitism.

And that's the 2026 New York Mets baseball season. It ended better than it began. Here's hoping we have the 2027 season right on time.

The one regret I had about choosing Vassar was that it did not have a Greek system. My mother had been president of the AEPhi chapter at her college, so I would have had a guaranteed admit.

If Lindor stays healthy another 2 years, he has a real shot of ending his career as number 1 on this list. And eventually, in Cooperstown.

No woman ever deserves to be raped. Ever. Blaming the victim is disgusting and awful and you really, really need to rethink why you felt compelled to say this.

Not every estrangement is an obvious “bad guy good guy” scenario. And a lot of family members do not want to be forced into choosing a side. It’s hard and painful and we didn’t ask for any of it.

Lux in the Bronx @rlux.nyc · 27/09/2026
That WSJ piece on parental estrangement doesn’t touch what happens to the rest of the family when a child goes no-contact. Other siblings, grandparents, cousins - everyone is forced into navigating the estrangement. It poisons every family gathering and lifecycle event, and it completely sucks.

Ronnie casually explained how he worked on a pitch that would fly true, so that when he threw at players, he would hit them exactly where he wanted to.🤣 Best booth in the game. It's going to be a long cold winter without Mets baseball.

Where I would disagree is that I don't think the Senate minority leader's job is to be the public face of the Democratic party. It's to wrangle legislation.

I know Ms. Rachel is too pure to wish for this herself, but how great would it be if her album release topped Taylor's? We need that kind of change right now

Meanwhile on Threads, both Taylor Swift and Ms Rachel are dropping new albums on the same day, and Ms Rachel's fans are accusing Swift of conspiring to "deliberately block" her release. Some people very seriously need to go touch grass.
