Dark clothes and not in a crosswalk? Are you trying to imply he got what he deserved? I guess he was just asking for it, dressed like that.

These are Onion level headlines.

It's like he hasn't figured out that other countries have their own interests. Why would Ukraine want to allow a nominal ally to provide financial support to an existential threat?

I lived in Saudi for six years and didn't see a single one. I've been back for two and this'll probably be the first of many.

Once we have a single entertainment monopoly, could we at least just go back to one single streaming service?

The ones testing them were probably hand selected, but once Skeeter Jenkins gets ahold of them, they may end up draining some of our shallowest gene pools.

It's one of the reasons I'm not totally against them. These aren't the smartest or best trained people. Eventually they are going to forget they are wearing them and it will be glorious.

He's obviously not saying what everyone says he's saying, and it's terrifying that they are so quick to gobble it up. They're on our side today, but they can be fooled so easily that it's scary.

Unfortunately, fundraising-wise, running against him is much more lucrative than beating him.

It's pretty clear he was talking about the gas prices being a small price to pay, and that losing LA or San Diego would be worse. There's enough that he actually says and means to hate him for without willfully pretending he's saying something he isn't.

Feel for his son who worked so hard to get out of that shadow to have it pop up again while having to deal with his father's death.

Perpetuity is a high bar to clear with such a strong trend. Ford => Reagan => Bush => Trump is an exponential curve. Just think about what the next plot point on that curve is going to be.

The problem with Democratic politicians only promising to fix the things Trump has destroyed is that, if they reset the country to just how it was before Trump was elected, all they've done is create the environment that led to Trump winning in the first place.

We need the same from our Democratic politicians. If you win, don't spend the next two years telling us why you can't do things.

Why are we still calling this a war if only one side has an army, and the opposition are civilians? At best, it's a police action against residents who have been denied citizenship.

Grew up in the south next to the national headquarters of the KKK. For me, it's not that hard to understand. People just don't want to admit this is what their friends and relatives are and have always been. At least now the hoods are off and, if you want, you can look at their faces.

Ever wonder why the people who work in AI write these self aggrandizing screeds that brag about working on world destroying technology, but I'm the same breath say we don't need legal restrictions? It's weird, right?

Because he isn't. He's just a bad writer and a right-wing shill. That's reason enough not to like him without LARPing that he's a villain. He's just an asshole. Apparently, the world is full of them.

I feel like the anger I feel toward the Atlantic is similar to the anger I felt as a teen when I realized I didn't believe in God. Then you take a look at what your local churches are doing, and that sense of betrayal by people that are supposed to be doing good work is a hard pill to swallow.

Let's face it. After they left office, the Dems didn't prosecute Nixon, Reagan, Bush, or Trump. I don't believe them and don't trust them. I don't want to hear about how they'll reset the country to the conditions that led to Trump. I want to know what their plan is to make things better.

Then actually do it this time. Nixon got away with it, Reagan for away with it, Bush for away with it, Trump's form away with it. Every time Dems tell us they'll investigate, and they've never done anything. You have to do something before we believe this will be different.

I'm pretty sure your readers know who David Brooks is. The question is, why? Why did you look at David Brooks' body of work with the NYTimes and say, "Our readership will love that." This modern era of The Altantic is an embarrassment.

It's almost as if there was some sort of plan to cleanse this ethically segregated area. It would be really convenient if we had a word for that.
