Hmmm...read the source document.
Apart from directly calling biological males females and biological females males, NMAH also praises activism that blurs the lines between the two genders, whether it be women embracing more masculine dress and hair styles, or participating in traditionally “male-dominated” academic fields and sports. For example, one didactic in the Girlhood exhibit, entitled “Dangerous Girls,” praises how girls “made new gender-bending ideas—such as bobbing their hair—popular” and “upended ideas about female respectability.”

The White House attack on the Smithsonian is nuts. It slams an 11 YO girl, calls Toni Morrison "an anti-white activist," and criticizes an exhibit that mentions women "bobbing their hair" for encouraging women to embrace "more masculine dress and hair styles." www.whitehouse.gov/releases/202...).

Trump is preparing to fire the leadership of the Smithsonian Institution, one of America's most prestigious scientific and historical research and education organizations. He wants in particular to censor the Smithonian's American History exhibits:

No one signed the report, which makes sense, because it is so absurdly sloppy that even the white nationalists who drafted it are probably embarrassed. The table of contents alone rebuts any suggestion that the authors speak for meritocracy.

Also, what the what is he installing up both sides of the Mall? My pictures suck, but plywood with little doors cut out, put in front of tents as a plywood facade painted to look kinda like his imaginary ballroom. W real doors installed. And it goes on for blocks. What the actual what?

Here's what the pool looked like at about 7 pm. Which, that's the final coat? Cause its not blue. And there are about 14 people out there walking in a line doing something that does not look like done.

I was already in a mood, because I saw this post, which gee, I dunno, I was thinking probably not true. So I walked over to the Mall. And it looks like a disaster zone.

The Willis née Sears Tower is taller than Empire State unless you count the antenna on Empire State and DON'T count the antenna on the Sears Tower. Which everyone, from Chicago at least, knows. We also know how to spell dumb. Dude can't tell the truth about anything.

The $1.776B “anti-weaponization fund” announced today is a theft of our tax dollars and a fraud on the American people. Congress needs to step up and block this settlement before Trump helps himself to the rest of our tax dollars. Please share and help sound the alarm. youtube.com/shorts/4bnF4...

Could be anything, but that's plausible. The government's discovery responses were totally inadequate, but the government did say their position had changed since reading the Fourth Circuit opinion from Judge Wilkinson. www.courtlistener.com/docket/69777...

I really was clinging "to the hope that it is not naïve to believe our good brethren in the Executive Branch perceive the rule of law as vital to the American ethos." Order at 6. And they would heed Judge Wilkinson's call to "summon the best that is within us while there is still time." But no.

As Judge Wilkinson, a Reagan appointee, wrote, rejecting Trump admin’s request to stay a lower court order to facilitate the return of Abrego Garcia, this case is about whether our executive branch obeys the law.

So much lying. And not saying this is the crux of things. But in my experience, in Prince George's County, Maryland, where I live, "top MS-13 members" do not hang out in front of my local Home Depot trying to get honest low paying work. Because real MS-13 members do not think that is cool.

The Government’s purported interpretation of this Court’s order is nonsense.

Go you! Nicely done!
But deference in this context means that the Executive can choose how to act lawfully; it does not mean that the Executive can act unlawfully. For example, the Executive is entitled to a high level of deference in its management of military affairs.

NEW from judge in Maryland immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia's case: "For the reasons discussed during today’s status conference, the Court finds that the [Trump admin] have failed to comply with this Court’s Order..." Next hearing: Tuesday, April 15 at 4 pm storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
For the reasons discussed during today’s status conference, the Court finds that the Defendants have failed to comply with this Court’s Order at ECF No. 51. In advance of the conference, the Court had directed Defendants to file a supplemental declaration from an individual with personal knowledge, addressing the following: (1) the current physical location and custodial status of Abrego Garcia; (2) what steps, if any, Defendants have taken to facilitate Abrego Garcia’s immediate return to the United States; and (3) what additional steps Defendants will take, and when, to facilitate his return. ECF No. 51. Defendants made no meaningful effort to comply. Instead, they complained that the Order is “unreasonable and impracticable,” and involves “sensitive country-specific considerations wholly inappropriate for judicial review.” ECF No. 59 at 2.

Before folks overreact to headlines about the judge’s ruling in the Khalil case, please note that (1) it was an immigration judge (IJ), not a federal district court; and (2) the IJ had no power to consider Khalil’s constitutional objections. This particular decision was a fait accompli.

There are some very bad stories going around about the Mahmoud Kahlil case. The hearing today was before an immigration judge — which is located within the Justice Department. They are NOT a "federal judge" in the sense that anyone reading at least one nationwide story saying so thinks of it.
