“I’ve never been in the Prime Tower,” Tyre whispered in her ear, draining the wine quickly.

“Go light on the wine,” Elsa said. “I apparently need you to help me not make a fool of myself, and you have a weapon on your hip.”

They picked over the food, Tyre making friends as she went, introducing her to General Tollard’s husband, to Lieutenant Thessaly and her wives, asking her repeatedly about life with the orcs. It took Elsa forever to realize she was setting Elsa up to impress them with her experiences.
