Left home at 1045 this morning. Through all of my commitments I'm now downtown sitting watching our version of a riverboat float by with a very loud band playing. On the one hand I dont mind being gone all day...on the other I need to get back to my hard boundaries I had last year.

Riverboat floats past McClellan island and under the walnut Street bridge as night descends.

My dad will drive around and find old lawn mowers and bring them home to fix them. He immediately strips all the safety mechanisms from the mower and leaves one wire that you can ground out to stop the mower from running. I have not had to purchase a safe lawn mower in nearly 20 years.

I went for a walk - resued a turtle from the road. It smelled. Bad. Its a Musk turtle. Didn't know those were a thing. You scare it and it release a scent. I accept your stink and you didn't get squished.
