Designed as an inverted temple, Rani Ki Vav extends seven levels deep, adorned with 800+ sculptures of deities and mythological figures. Its highlight is Vishnu reclining on Shesha Naga, symbolizing creation and preservation.

Rani Ki Vav, a stepwell in Patan, Gujarat, India. It was built by Queen Udayamati in memory of King Bhima I of the Solanki dynasty. Designed for water storage and as a gathering space, it was buried under Saraswati River silt, preserving its intricate carvings until its 20th-century rediscovery.
