RIP Sam Neill. A true Aussie (and Kiwi) icon. I’d imagine it’s lesser known to an international audience, but The Dish remains one of my favourite films of all time (despite it taking enormous liberties with the history it’s based on).

I agree with you so much, I really don't like things like this... I think it's important to talk respectfully with strangers, especially because there are things like language barriers or neurodivergence, etc, that can alter how people perceive a comment... 🙈

I took some time away to reflect, and now I just try to remind myself that I'm allowed to do indulgent drawings that make me happy, because that's what art is about... the joy of creating things haha. And I will always have people that enjoy what I do either way, whether it is just 1 or a handful

Ahhh I know this feeling well 😭 And I still feel it sometimes. A couple of years ago it got to the point where I was constantly comparing myself to others and just feeling miserable, and it gave me really bad art block.
