Big vehicles have a heavy cost. For every life saved by being in an SUV or pickup truck, 4.3 other lives are lost; for the heaviest 1% of SUVs or trucks, this ratio soars to 12:1. We’re opting out of the pointless race towards ever vehicle size and power. #RoadPeace #FCEV #Autobesity

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝟭𝟮𝗸𝗪 𝗳𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹 🔋💧 Fuel cells use far fewer critical + rare materials than the batteries used in battery electric vehicles. Our fuel cells use the same amount of platinum as an ICE catalytic converter, and the platinum can be 100% recovered and re-used at end of life.

We’re well into UK Clean Air Month, and we’ve been enjoying a fresh, zero-emission drive in our hydrogen powered fuel cell car, the Rasa. The Rasa weighs in at around 660kg. This means low particulate emissions, as well as zero from the tailpipe. 🪻

⚡️The Rasa uses supercapacitors for acceleration + storing recovered energy. ♾️ When the car brakes, kinetic energy normally lost in the form of heat is captured as ⚡️ and as the car slows, this floods into the supercaps + is sent back to the motors, allowing acceleration from 0-60 in 9.5 secs.
